Achievements

Dr. David Muscat is past President of The Dental Association of Malta. He is currently Secretary, Public Relations Officer, and Substitute International Relations officer of the Dental Association.
Dr. Muscat has previously represented the Maltese dentists on The Council of European Dentists, as well as the Federation Dentaire Internationale and the European Regional Association of the FDI.
Dr. Muscat has in the past been on the European Working Group of amalgam.
Dr. Muscat is an elected member of The Medical Council of Malta. Dr Muscat represents The Medical Council on FEDCAR which is the Federation of European dental competent authorities and regulators.
Dr. Muscat was Vice President of FEDCAR in 2011 and President of FEDCAR in 2012.
Dr. Muscat has represented the Medical Council in conferences in Malta as well as London, Paris, The Hague, Brussels, Dubrovnik, Barcelona, Rome, and Dublin.
Dr. Muscat is the editor of the Maltese Dental Journal The Dental Probe.
Dr. Muscat is the Medical Council expert on Dental EU affairs and has represented Malta on 'Professions Crossing Borders'.
Dr. Muscat is greatly involved in organizing professional lectures and courses for continuing professional education for registered dentists as well as social events for all the dentists in Malta.
